Preview Panel

The Preview panel displays details from a case or data object alongside your current context.

Usage

The Preview component can be used for quick reference to confirm or review existing content from a case or data object, as well as for making quick edits.

New for 24.2: The Preview in prior versions showed a limited set of tabs from cases or data objects. Now, all tabs to the end-user by default. Older cases and objects will need to be manually upgraded to support this change.

Anatomy

The Preview panel houses the case header, tabs, and tab panel, along with a close button, conditional back button, and edit button. It may include overview, Pulse, lists, and a Utility tab.

The Preview button is used only for revealing the Preview panel from a link.

Configuration

No configuration is needed to enable this component in Constellation, however there are additional settings that can be adjusted within the authoring experience.
